History

The company relocated to No. 25 Juye Road, Binjiang.

Xinda Foreign Trade adheres to the development path of integrating industry and trade, continuously strengthens industrial chain management, promotes the "going global" strategy, and actively cultivates new business sectors such as pharmaceuticals and chemicals. In 2019, its exports broke through the development bottleneck of over 800 million US dollars and moved to the forefront of provincial-level professional foreign trade companies in Zhejiang.

The company has followed the development trend of the textile and clothing industry, implemented the "going global" strategy, and established the first overseas clothing production base in Cambodia.

In November, the company relocated to No. 1888 Jianghui Road, Binjiang District.

In October, under the condition of clear property rights, the company further implemented the parent company restructuring and established Zhejiang Xinda Group Co., Ltd. by restructuring the Zhejiang Livestock Products Import and Export Company and Zhejiang Livestock Products Company as a whole.

Starting from the second half of the year, the company took the lead in implementing the transformation of its business department into a limited liability company in the foreign trade system of Zhejiang Province. By the end of 1998, all business departments and directly affiliated enterprises had completed the transformation. Through restructuring, foreign trade professionals have been retained and employees' entrepreneurial enthusiasm has been fully mobilized, and the enterprise has entered a rapid development channel.

In January, the company implemented a reform of the cadre and personnel system, introduced a competitive mechanism, publicly recruited middle-level cadres, and introduced reform measures centered on the management contract system. In March 1989, the Zhejiang Livestock Products Branch of China National Livestock Products Import and Export Corporation was renamed as Zhejiang Livestock Products Import and Export Corporation.

In January, the Zhejiang Livestock Products Branch of China Native Produce and Livestock Products Import and Export Corporation was established.
